Once you’re finished winterizing your garage like we described in our last post, it will be time to move on to the tools inside your garage.  These tips will both get you ready for winter and keep your equipment working for next spring and summer.
Summer equipment
Spray your summer tools with lightweight oil to keep them lubricated and rust free over the winter. Clean the dirt and clippings off your lawn mower and sharpen its blade. Store this equipment out of the way, and move your winter tools into its place.
Winter equipment
Get your tools ready now so you’re not rushing around with everyone else when a storm is on the way. Buy your sand or ice melt. Check out your snow shovels to make sure they’re intact. If not, replace them. If you have a snow blower, replace its spark plugs and make sure it runs.
We’re available with our winterization checklist to help you get ready. Contact us and we’ll give you suggestions. We can even help you out with the process so you’re ready for the snow.
